In Port Royale 4, you will take charge of a colony as a young and ambitious governor eager to learn to rule and develop your small settlement into a bustling trading city. Strengthen production chains by connecting multiple islands and create complex trade routes across the Caribbean, meeting the growing demand of cities. Rely on the detailed nautical map to avoid stormy areas, reefs, or shallow waters. Complete the missions from your nation's Viceroy to gain fame and unlock urban structures, ships, and more. Conquer the cities of rival nations or hunt down their fleets with a letter of marque, while staying vigilant against pirates and other privateer ships. For the first time in the series, naval battles will be turn-based, with up to 8 ships per combat and captain tactical maneuvers able to turn the tide even in the direst situations to claim glorious victory.
