As long as there are devices within 10-50 meters, the device can be located. Is it real-time? When devices are nearby, it can achieve near real-time positioning. The more devices in the vicinity, the more accurate the positioning becomes. If no devices are present, positioning will not be possible until one comes within range, which may result in location updates every 5 to 15 minutes. How does it work? The device emits a secure Bluetooth signal every two seconds. Nearby devices such as smartphones or Macs can detect and upload this signal to the cloud, enabling location data to be generated.
