Organic coconut sugar 250 g

Origins Bio Coconut Sugar is made from coconuts from organic farming and without GMOs (genetically modified organisms). This Coconut Sugar is obtained from the sap of the coconut tree, which is the circulating fluid of the coconut plant. It is a raw and filtered sweetener, with no preservatives. Coconut sugar is one of the healthiest sweeteners and one of the best alternatives to white sugar and artificial sweeteners. Being a very versatile ingredient and with a unique flavor, it gives a special touch of caramel to any type of recipe. What makes this alternative to conventional sugar more interesting is that it is nutritionally richer, with nutrients such as iron, zinc, calcium and potassium, as well as some antioxidants. Additionally, coconut sugar contains a fiber called inulin that can slow glucose absorption, which may explain why coconut sugar has a lower glycemic index than conventional sugar. It is recommended to use it as an alternative to conventional sugar in recipes for cakes, desserts, granolas, porridges and even in savory recipes.
