Tang Nano 20K is a new development board in the Tang Nano series, featuring the same number of logic units as the Tang Primer 20K, but compressed into an ultra-compact size of 5.5 x 2.3 cm. It includes built-in 64 Mbit SDRAM with low latency, facilitating smoother simulator operation and improved performance for soft-core Linux systems. The onboard download chip has been upgraded to support USB 2.0, enabling high-speed JTAG programming, serial communication, high-speed SPI transfer, and precise clock configuration. Compared to common FPGA development environments, the required IDE installation package for Tang Nano 20K is less than 200 MB, with installed footprint of approximately 500 MB, significantly conserving hard drive space. The IDE workflow is highly streamlined, making it accessible for beginners without overwhelming complexity. The IDE delivers a fast and efficient experience, allowing users to begin programming within minutes and achieve synthesis in just seconds.
