Please note that it is a PCI card, NOT a PCIE card.Connect the SATA RAID PCI card to the PCI slot on your motherboard and connect 4 SATA drives to the ports on the PCI card using the included cables or standard SATA cables of appropriate length.The card comes with an optional RAID utility that allows you to configure a RAID 0, RAID 1, or RAID 01 configuration on two port cables or more of the SATA ports.You can have a RAID 0 or 1 configuration and two independent SATA drives, two RAID 0 or 1 sets, or a single RAID 01 set.
