Hold the tampon with the base of the applicator between your thumbs and forefinger. With the other hand, gently open the vaginal opening and place the rounded tip of the applicator into the vaginal opening (the same opening where the discharge leaves the body). Insert it at an angle towards your back by turning it slightly. Slide the external insertion tube all the way into your vagina, until your finger touches your body. Push the inner insertion tube with your index finger until it is inside the first tube. In this way, the tampon will be placed correctly inside your vagina.
