MB ELV Emulator is an adapter designed for Mercedes-Benz vehicles, compatible with models W204, W207, W211, and W212. It works with MB key programmers to renew the ESL (Electronic Steering Lock) unit. This device serves the same functional purpose as other ELV emulators on the market. In many cases involving W204, W207, W211, and W212 models, ESL failure occurs alongside EIS (Electronic Ignition Switch) issues. Possible causes include damage to the ESL motor or a locked NEC chip. While chip unlocking may be theoretically possible, replacement of the ESL unit is typically required in practice.
