COMPATIBILITY: MP41070 2 ignition key switch compatible with Mercury Mariner Outboard DFI and EFI and MPI remote control boxes. If the boat does not start when the key is turned or you have to wiggle the key hard, this means you need to replace your boat with a engine starter ignition key switch. 4. FUNCTION: The boat ignition switch has 6 wires for pushing blocking and 3 positions: OFF RUN START. The ignition key switch has push back function and is used in conjunction with the magnetic controlled ignition switch for excellent corrosion protection to eliminate oxidation.
