UVEX - S4109650717 - Bicycle helmet - size 59-61

Top-class aero helmets for long distances are the pinnacle of triathlon. Just a few seconds can determine whether you reach the top of the podium or not. The key is the fastest equipment. The new UVEX Race 8 has already impressed top athletes, including Timo Bracht, Laura Philipp, and Challenge Roth winner Bart Aernouts. The UVEX Race 8 was developed by UVEX engineers and athletes from BMC-etixx pro triathlon teams. German triathlete Laura Philipp helped to further optimize the helmet. To improve aerodynamics, the shape is a shortened teardrop. The helmet sides feature specially arranged dimples, like those on golf balls, which reduce drag and prevent turbulence. A central front vent at the point of maximum standing air pressure ensures airflow in a single motion around and through the helmet. The magnetic visor lens with Litemirror Smoke (S1) can be operated with one hand, fits the helmet perfectly, and closes seamlessly. When not in use, it easily stores on the helmet shell in a specially designed "parking position." The helmet's shape perfectly covers the shoulders, allowing air to flow smoothly over the back of the head and body with minimal turbulence. In wind tunnel tests, the UVEX Race 8 demonstrates a significant reduction in power and time. The higher the speed, the more watts it saves. Tests with UVEX athletes have measured overall system wind resistance savings of up to 4.2% compared to the previous model. Designed for: Time Trialists. Special Features: Aero Vent Design, Hardshell Construction, IAS Fit System, Litemirror Smoke (S1) Magnetic Visor Lens
